RATHDOWN JUNIOR SCHOOL

We introduced Tinkercad last year and this year extended it to 5-6th class. We are also taking part in the “Mooncamp, discovery challenge” (https://mooncampchallenge.org/) programme with agreement from Stephanie in ESERO. As part of the pupils designing a moon base living quarters, we now have a 3D printer in the school. Every student in 5th and 6th class designed a base and now are given a choice to design an alien or a space vehicle. We will be submitting a number of designs for inclusion in the Mooncamp Gallery, including 3d printed Aliens. Spaceships and moon vehicles.
