This week in the Into The Woods Pod we continued with our Deep Dark Wood project. We put our family trees and models of ourselves up to start our Woods. Using our feet we "painted" a muddy path which we have running through our Woods. Our sky we painted with our hands and using some old socks weighed down with pasta and popcorn kernels, we added cloud effects. The children loved getting messy and are enjoying watching our Woods being constructed.

We read the book The Gruffalo's Child this week and the children loved learning about the shadow that was cast by the moon to make the little mouse look like a big, bad mouse! They are very excited that we are going to be making Gruffalo this week to put into our Wood. We also have Annabelle's birthday party on Friday to look forward to. We will have some party games and fun to celebrate!
