The Pre-School at Rathdown offers a sessional ECCE service along with a full-time and part-time day care service for children aged 2 years and 8 months to 5 years and 6 months.  We offer a year round service, with camps during mid-term breaks, Easter and Summer holidays. The Pre-School is closed over Christmas.  Early drop off commences at 8am and our latest collection is 6.00pm.  A hot lunch and hot evening tea are available. We follow a play-based curriculum guided by Aistear, the national curriculum framework.  The main Aistear themes - well-being, identity and belonging, communication and exploring and thinking  - are incorporated in everything we do.  We provide a wide range of extra curricular activities.  In addition, a PE class with our Junior School PE teacher is included each week.  A variety of special events and shows happen throughout the year.  Take a look at our classes to sample a flavour of our Pre-School.
